Andrei Protsouk is a master artist when it comes to painting. As an architect of his whimsical artwork, the construction of the composition keeps the viewer entertained and mesmerized by every inch of his canvases. This is why Protsouk’s approach relies heavily on drawing. The paintings are built on his extensive education and experience in drawing and composition. Protsouk studied under the most accomplished artists in the Repin Academy with traditions rooted in Spanish and Italian baroque painting passed down over 300 years. Andrei studied drawing for over 17 years and completed 4 different art schools where he became a master draftsman. When he finally graduated the Repin Academy he was the highest caliber artist in anatomical drawing and painting. A lot of his studies and paintings which he completed at the Repin are still displayed in the school’s academic museum. They are studied by new generations of artists training there today. No collection of Andrei Protsouk’s artwork is complete without one of his studies or drawings.
